Time did not forget to take a look at what it built, but it left the mark of the past.
Moldovita is the expression of the post-Byzantine style with Renaissance fragments from local church painting; example offered in general by the foundations with exterior painting of Stephen the Great. What we see today represents the 16th century version of craftsmanship; the Musatina version, victim of landslides at the end of the 15th century, has its remains exposed 500 meters away. Most likely as a precaution, the place was surrounded by walls, giving it the appearance of a fortress.

Bucovina, living space of the great clergy and hermits forgotten by time; area decorated with dozens of oases of greenery and clumps of forest intended for hesychia, but not only. It preserves the most powerful, compact and visited monastic center in the country. Each monastery seems to be sitting quietly in the shade of a forest, hidden under the falling leaves or placed at the foot of the slopes, just waiting to be discovered.

Small architectural jewels fascinate the pilgrim from the first steps inside the church.
These are like embroideries: flawless no matter from which angle they are viewed and worked with the deepest dedication.
