The holy places in Jerusalem

Old for millennia, the holy places of Jerusalem stamp the rhythm of life in religious communities, governed by their own meanings and prayer, and surprise or just cause excitement to the endless lines of tourists who come from all corners of the world and want to see everything regardless of the spiritual significance of the vestiges historical.
Jerusalem, the capital of the country and its largest city, is also known as the Holy City or the Promised Land. It is divided into four large neighborhoods: the Jewish Quarter, the Christian Quarter, the Muslim Quarter and the Armenian Quarter. The city represents a fusion between a holy place and a modern city. Everywhere in the city you can see priests, monarchs, rabbis, churches belonging to different cults or crowded markets.
The oldest part of the city is the City of David, Siloam in the Bible, and represents the place where David, Solomon and the prophets passed.
