The Romanian lands bow before the soul, smoldering with piety and desire to know. We invite you for two days to enter a land soaked in holiness, the smell of incense and voices of prayer.

Together we will visit:

Neamț Fortress; Ion Creangă Memorial House; Văratec Monastery; Agapia Monastery; Agapia Old Monastery-accommodation; Sihla Monastery; Secu Monastery; Sihastria Monastery; Neamț Monastery; Vovidenia Hermitage; Nicolae Popa Ethno-Folklore Museum; Dragoș Vodă Bison Reserve.

The intense Orthodox monastic life in the Neamț region has earned it the name of the Mount Athos of Romania – with the highest density of monasteries and hermitages per km 2 in the country.

Some of the most famous monks and hermits of the Romanian pateric lived in Neamt, such as St. Theodora of Sihla (17th century), St. Paisius Velicicovski (18th century), St. John Jacob of Neamt, Father Paisius Olaru or Father Cleopa.
